Our Aims

P1010755.JPG

To encourage and protect wildlife, ecosystems and biodiversity in Hook Norton and surrounding areas by creating awareness of the need to preserve our countryside and wildlife habitats.

What is an ecosystem? An ecosystem is a geographic area where plants, animals and other organisms, as well as weather and landscape, work together to form a bubble of life.

What is biodiversity? Biodiversity is all the living things on our planet from the smallest bacteria to the largest plants and animals.

The State of Nature 2019 report documents "how human impacts are driving sweeping changes in wildlife in the UK. The loss of nature affects us all, but the greatest impacts will be upon the lives of young people and generations yet to come if they have to live in a world impoverished of nature."
